Musician and actor Hugh Laurie, best known for his starring role on the hit television series House, will make his musical debut at the Englert as part of the world tour in support of his new album, Let Them Talk. The album, which features Laurie on lead piano and vocals, was inspired by the classic blues sound of the New Orleans music scene and brings together a variety of renowned guest musicians and vocalists from the area. With appearances by the likes of blues piano and horns great Allen Toussaint, vocal legend Sir Tom Jones, and Irma Thomas, Hugh Laurie’s Let Them Talk proves to be both an ode to a fundamental musical movement and a fresh spin on a classic sound.
