Job Description
Working closely with the Patron Services Manager, House Managers, and other front of house staff, you will provide welcoming guest services to patrons at our concession bars for live events.

Anticipated Work Schedule
Hours can fluctuate from 5 – 25 hours per week with an anticipated average of 10 hours/week. The position will most often require work hours that occur in the afternoon, evenings, and/or weekends, with some day time events.
Reports To
Patron Services Manager, with additional supervision by House Managers and Concessions Lead
Core Job Duties
- Assist in setting up before the event and clean up/break down of the concession area at the end of the event
- Provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environment
- Complete snack and beverage orders and accept payment from patrons
- Follow proper cash handling including, greeting and service guests at the registers, taking orders, and accepting payments, handling cash, debit and credit cards
- Stock and restock items as necessary to ensure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations
- Maintain product knowledge of what is available at each concession location
- Demonstrate the ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas ensuring all equipment and work surfaces are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and the floor is swept and mopped at the end of shift
- Maintain working knowledge of venue life safety protocols as outlined in the Emergency Operations Plan as well as what applies directly to front of house operations
- Clearly and diplomatically communicate with all other departments (event based)
- Make recommendations to management on better processes as identified during daily routine
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience working in live events, hospitality, retail, or food & beverage is a plus!
- An interest in live music and performing arts
The Performing Arts Industry
Our organization’s schedule follows the touring industry, with busy seasons in September-December and February-May. This position is subject to non-traditional work hours, like working events in the evening.
