About Aaron Longoria
Aaron Longoria is an artist, musician, and filmmaker whose songwriting practice began in 2020 in an apartment overlooking Burlington Street in Iowa City. They soon found their voice as Tomato Boy, performing solo, and helped form the band Early Girl in 2022, for whom they continue to front as the group’s primary songwriter. Longoria plucks inspiration from intimate conversations and blends earnest confession with catchy turns of phrase for a lyrical repertoire that is fierce, candid, and compassionate.

Sophie Mitchell is a gruff broad with gumption and grit! Sophie Mitchell is also a Chicago-based indie rock singer-songwriter with a background in creative writing. They released their debut album, “What’s Left of Us” this year, which was written, recorded, and produced completely DIY in a bedroom studio. An unabashed and raw lyricist, their music focuses on navigating the discomfort of growth and young adulthood.
