Arts Administration Internship – Summer 2024
The Arts Administration Internship program at The Englert aims to provide exposure to non-profit arts administration for late high school and early college-age youth interested in the industry.
The 10-week program will give interns practical and theoretical knowledge and skills in a variety of arts administration topics like programming, marketing, development, and event planning through discussion-based learning sessions with the Englert staff. Interns will also get insight into the local arts scene through tours of other venues and various networking opportunities, as well as receive career mentorship to help advance in the performing arts industry.
The summer 2024 internship session (end of May through July) will take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am to noon (two 90-minute sessions). Successful program participants will receive a $550 stipend to support their work, culminating in a final project that analyzes one topic covered during the program.
A maximum of 5 program applicants will be selected to participate this summer based on various criteria, emphasizing diverse applicants.
