Author Eli Gottlieb speaks about his experience growing up with an autistic brother in the 1960s and how he uses writing both to process his experience and share his brother’s perspective. He will be joined by neuroscientist and MacArthur Fellow Beth Stevens of Harvard University and a panel from the University of Iowa’s Iowa Neuroscience Institute for a discussion about the science and the societal impact of autism. There will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.
