Acting Out Prep School

Event Description

In the third and final week of Acting Out! Prep School, we’ll use all of our knowledge about theater and stages, and the work we’ve done developing our own characters to finally create a monologue – a speech made by a single character in a play! First, we’ll take a look at dialogues and learn how to find the moments that a character might have so much to say, that they need a monologue. We’ll work through how to write and edit them, and then we’ll talk about monologue delivery and, of course, performance!
