Developers of Iowa City, let’s meet up! Join Pear Deck for camaraderie and conversation about clean coding patterns led by Pear Deck developer Asmaa Elkeurti.

Be in the upstairs of the Englert from 7-8:30 pm on Thursday, July 25. One complimentary beverage is provided by Pear Deck. No tickets needed but space is limited, so RSVP on this event page to help give us a head count.

Here’s a little more about their Tech Talk presenter, the awesome Asmaa Elkeurti!

“Hi, I’m Asmaa! I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Iowa. While there, I also studied chemistry and sustainability, taught supplemental instruction, and worked as a photojournalist and news writer for the Daily Iowan. I also completed software development internships with Cerner in Kansas City and Intel in Portland.

I’ve been creating classroom tools for teachers and students with Pear Deck for three years. I love building things that create a more equitable and sustainable world through intuitive design and good coding practices. I believe tech should foster community and facilitate real human connection — never replace it.”
