Description
Directed by John Cassavetes, this improvisational, beat-era film won the Critics Award at the Cannes Film Festival, bringing the actor turned director recognition as the first independent American film producer. Filming was done in 16 millimeters and expanded to 35 millimeters, producing a grainy effect to the finished product.
