Erik Whittaker has written and performed music in many Iowa bands including The Old Scratch Revival Singers, Peanut Ricky, Gimpy, and Los Voltage. Erik’s sound is influenced by Roy Orbison, Julee Cruise, Scott Walker, PJ Harvey, and Bauhaus, resulting in reverb-drenched, Americana ballads, filtered through the coldness of post-punk. Erik has recently released his first solo album, “I’ll Remember You This Way”.
